New Policies

Your safety is our top priority and we understand any apprehension you may have as a patient. The staff and I have worked diligently to ensure that our practice has the proper safety equipment and protocols to reopen with minimal risk of virus transmission. In addition to obtaining the recommended PPE, we recently renovated our office to include a state-of the-art sterilization center and two hospital-grade treatment rooms with separate medical-grade HVAC systems, utilizing positive pressure and a high filtration recycling system. Our larger treatment area will be secured by limited patient numbers and high flow air-purification technology. With these advances and improvements, we are setting the bar of safety standards in dental offices. In addition to our standard protocols, you will see some changes at your next appointment.

Here is what you should expect:

PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT: We will call you 1-3 days prior to your scheduled appointment to ask some screening questions. During this call we will answer any questions that you have relating to your appointment, schedule any necessary follow-up appointments, provide an estimate and secure payment details as our front office administration will not be working in the front office as usual.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE: Please call our office at 207-729-1159 to check in. We will ask that you wait in your vehicle until your provider is ready for you as our waiting room will be closed.

ENTERING THE OFFICE: Your provider will meet you in the hallway outside of our front door to perform a temperate check. We will ask that you wear a face mask or covering and use the provided hand sanitizer before entering the office. Your provider will immediately bring you back for your scheduled appointment.

DURING APPOINTMENT: You can expect treatment as usual however, you will notice that we are wearing additional layers including masks and face shields, because of this it is very difficult to talk without getting overheated. We will have the office temperature set very cool. Please remember to bring a sweater or extra layer so that you are comfortable.

AFTER APPOINTMENT: We will ask that you promptly leave the office so that we can properly sanitize and prepare for our next patient. If you need an additional unplanned appointment or have questions about your next appointment, we will contact you.
